ACC announces 2026 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction recipients

Leduc, AB – Nine Alberta businesses and organizations were recognized on September 23 at the 35th annual Alberta Business Awards of Distinction, hosted by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) in Leduc.

The awards recognize organizations that demonstrate excellence across nine categories, with 29 finalists representing communities, industries and businesses from across the province.

"The Alberta Business Awards of Distinction celebrate people and organizations shaping Alberta’s future," said Shauna Feth, President and CEO of the Alberta Chambers of Commerce. "From local entrepreneurs to nationally recognized innovators, this year's recipients demonstrate what is possible when vision, leadership and community impact come together."

The evening’s highest honour, Alberta’s Best of Business Award of Distinction, was presented to MVE The Heritage Centre. The award was presented by CPA Alberta.

Ryan Jespersen, host of Real Talk, brought energy and charisma to the evening. His conversations with the award recipients will soon be featured on the Alberta Chambers of Commerce YouTube channel.

"Alberta's business community does not wait for the right conditions — it creates them. Every recipient tonight is proof of that. Through the Alberta Chambers of Commerce, we see this across every corner of the province — businesses that are not just building their own futures, but shaping the communities and the economy that every Albertan depends on.
