Jackson Heraid
Jackson Heraid is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in emergency services, mental health, community healthcare, and crisis intervention. Currently serving as the Community Initiatives Manager at Maskwacis Ambulance Authority, he leads programs that focus on improving healthcare outcomes in Indigenous communities. With dual certifications as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Paramedic, he combines clinical expertise with leadership across diverse sectors, including emergency services, addictions programs, law enforcement, hospitals, crisis intervention, and education. As an expert in mental health first aid, de-escalation, and crisis response, Jackson has developed training programs for healthcare workers, social services staff, and security personnel to manage high-risk situations, prevent workplace violence, and reduce occupational stress injuries.
