Elder Marcel Paul and Marcel Arcand will share teachings about their culture, their history and their desire to get the Sacred Treaties honoured and recognized by all levels of government and institutions. Additionally, Marcel Archand will be presenting a starting point for an Indigenous Economic Framework that we can build collaboratively amongst the Nations for preparation for the upcoming adoption of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada 94 Calls to Action.
