The achievements of organizations and entrepreneurs who enrich Alberta's communities with outstanding contributions were recognized in fourteen categories, including Alberta's Best of Business Award of Distinction – a prestigious award presented to one business selected from the finalists in all the award categories. The 2022 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction recipients were announced during the ABAD Gala celebration emceed by Doug Griffiths and Heather Thomson with 13 Ways Inc.
Shauna Feth, ACC President and CEO: "On behalf of the entire Alberta Chambers of Commerce network, our congratulations to all the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction recipients this year – you represent the best our province has to offer.”
“Over the past thirty-one years hosting these awards, ACC has been able to honour over 300 award recipients and more than one thousand finalists. These awards are intended to recognize the excellence and character within Alberta’s business community, of which there is so much to celebrate.
The first in-person ABAD ceremony since 2019 was made possible with the tremendous support of ABAD presenting partners MNP, Chambers Plan, Postmedia Solutions, CPA Alberta, and Johnson Group. In-kind support was contributed by Nine10 Marketing, Legend Productions and Amplomedia, the University of Alberta’s Centre for Cities and Communities, and Alberta’s Gateway to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) Hub.
Feth: “We appreciate all the businesses nominated for these awards and the partners who make recognition of these community leaders possible, and we thank them for the contributions they make to our fantastic province every day.”
