Alberta Chicken Producers (ACP)

Alberta Chicken Producers (ACP) is a farmer-run, not-for-profit organization representing approximately 250 chicken farm families across the province. Together, Alberta chicken farmers are committed to producing safe, high-quality, locally raised food that Canadians can trust.

ACP works on behalf of its members to support responsible production, strong animal care standards, and a reliable supply of fresh chicken for Albertans and Canadians. The organization collaborates across the value chain and plays a key role in advocacy, public trust, research, and programs that strengthen farm sustainability, food safety, and environmental stewardship.

Through this work, Alberta Chicken Producers helps ensure a vibrant poultry sector that supports rural communities, contributes to the provincial economy, and delivers value from farm to table.
